We believe in being upfront, so here's the honest behind-the-curtain: grrrments uses AI tools as part of how we design, market, and run the shop. We also believe a person should be steering. So a person is.
Where AI shows up
- Imagery & marketing visuals. Some product mockups, promotional graphics, banners, and lifestyle imagery on this site and our social channels are created or enhanced with generative AI tools. Models, scenes, and backgrounds in marketing imagery may be AI-generated and not photographs of real people or real garments.
- Copy & captions. Some product descriptions, jokes, blurbs, and emails are drafted or polished with AI assistance. (The puns are a team effort. Blame is shared.)
- Operations. We use AI to help with things like organizing our catalog, customer-support drafting, and analytics summaries.
What stays human
- Every design is human-curated. A real person chooses what becomes a product, edits it, sets the tone, and decides what ships. AI suggests; we decide. Nothing goes live on a shirt without human sign-off.
- Brand & taste calls are ours. The voice, the wink, the line between "cheeky" and "no" — that's a human judgment, every time.
- Your data isn't the punchline. We don't feed your personal information into AI tools to train public models. Any AI we use to handle support or operations is used under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms (see our Privacy Policy).
Honesty about the medium
AI-generated imagery can look realistic but may contain quirks or idealizations. Product mockups are illustrative. Garment colors, print placement, and fit can vary slightly from what you see on screen — that's true of any print-on-demand product. What you receive is a real Bella+Canvas garment printed by our provider, not the rendered image.
